A video podcast titled “Violence against women marginalized by profession” was jointly produced in collaboration with SWASA Nepal, Jagriti Mahila Mahasangh, Yatra Creatives and YoSHAN (Youth-led Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights Advocacy Nepal) a youth-led feminist organization based in Kathmandu which works for the sexual and reproductive health rights in Nepal. The podcast was moderated by Pushpa Joshi, a young feminist activist and the speakers in the podcast were, Shanti Tiwari, the chairperson at SWASA Nepal and Aava Chhetri from Jagriti Mahila Mahasangh (JMMS). Both the speakers talked about how a group of women have been excluded by society just because of their profession and also highlighted the issue of violence against sex workers which has been a hidden discourse. Through the same podcast, the speakers also urged women rights activists, feminist activists and human rights defenders to join the movement for the human rights of sex workers on 16 Days of Activism against GBV.
