The situation analysis on Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) of Female Sex Workers (FSWs) in Nepal is a crucial research topic for several reasons. Second, Nepal has a high prevalence of HIV & AIDS, and female sex workers are at a particularly high risk of contracting and transmitting HIV & AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs). Therefore, a situation analysis of the SRHR of Female sex workers in Nepal can help identify the barriers and challenges they face in accessing SRHR services, including HIV testing and treatment, family planning, and gender-based violence prevention and response. This analysis can provide important insights into the policies, laws, and practices that support or hinder the realization of female sex workers’ SRHR, and inform the development of evidence-based interventions to improve its access.
Furthermore, the research can help to raise awareness about the importance of SRHR of female sex workers and contribute to reducing stigma and discrimination against this population. The findings of the research can also be used to advocate for policy changes and programmatic interventions to improve the health and well-being of FSWs and support their human rights.
